Hey ya’ll!!  As you all probably know by now I have 2 adorable little boys.  My youngest Sam is now 8 months old (it goes by so fast *wahh*).

Both of my boys were formula babies (no sanctimommy comments please, fed is best) and with Dean we went through container after container of pricey formula.

Both my boys suffered from pretty bad reflux and allergies as newborns and had to be on Sensitive Formula.

Sam was started on Similac Sensitive and he took it okay.  He was still spitting up quite a bit more than I would like and the doctors were ready to switch him to one of the really really expensive specialty formulas.

I was at Sam’s Club (where we are every weekend) and went to grab his usual formula.  I noticed the Sam’s Club version next to his usual, theirs is Member’s Mark Sensitivity Infant Formula. My wallet liked the Member’s Mark price, then I noticed the amount, you get a ton more with the Member’s Mark Formula.  So I picked them both up and reviewed and compared ingredients and it all added up.

Member’s Mark Sensitivity Infant Formula is specially formulated for babies who are prone to fussiness and gas due to lactose sensitivity which my little one definitely is. It has a unique blend of DHA, lutein, and vitamin E, which supports growth and development of your baby’s brain and eyes.

So I took a chance, grabbed a container and headed home.

Right away I loved how much easier it was to open the container.  This may not seem like a big deal but when you are trying to do it one handed with a screaming baby every little bit helps.

Next I noticed that little notch to keep the scoop in.  Our old formula had a place for it on the lid but it was kind of a pain in the butt to get in and out, this little notch for the scoop handle is a breeze!

So I was impressed but would Sam be?  He seemed to like it just fine and didn’t notice the change.  Score one for mom, and for my wallet.

However, as the days went on I did notice a change, I had less baby laundry to wash and then it dawned on me, Sam was actually spitting up less.  I am not sure if the formula change resulted in it but I am one happy mama either way!

I love Member’s Mark Infant Formula, you get so much more for your money, I love the packaging way more and your baby is still getting everything they were with the pricier formulas.

If you are thinking of making the change (and saving big) you can use the Formula Finder to determine which formula is best for your baby.  There is also an online Formula Savings Calculator where you can compare Member’s Mark infant formula to other national brands and see how much you can save by making the switch!
