Fluffernutter Bars

Sharing is caring!

Saturday night once again and though there is no Supernatural tonight we still are going to hang out and do the girly thing.  This is an old recipe my family has always made, I got the recipe out of our old church cookbook and its easy to flip right to the recipe as the pages are always stuck together with peanut butter lol.  Apparently we have been on a marshmallow/peanut butter kick as I decided to whip up this bars for us to snack on.  These are super super simple and kids go crazy for them (and so do men lol).  These are totally customizable, we add marshmallows but you can certainly add peanuts or even chocolate chips.  Any way you make them these are outstanding!

Peanut Butter Bars

    • 2 cup light corn syrup

    • 2 cup white sugar

    • 2 cup smooth peanut butter

    • 20 cups cornflakes cereal

    • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows

    • 1 ½ cup plain or honey roasted peanuts (optional)

In large bowl mix cornflakes and marshmallows (and peanuts if you choose).

In large pot mix sugar and corn syrup, heat till simmering, stir in peanut butter.

Working quickly mix the peanut butter mixture into the cornflake mixture and stir gently till all combined.

Pour into greased pyrex dish (or 2).  Or drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper to package individually.

Let cool and enjoy.
