Hey guys!!! It’s almost fall!! I love everything about fall, it is my favorite season! The falling leaves, the chill in the air, and the round orange pumpkins that are popping up on everyone’s porches.

Speaking of pumpkin of course we all know fall brings pumpkin flavored everything! Yum!!! I love pumpkin on everything and in everything. I also love to bake but right now at 5 months pregnant I am always looking for shortcuts in the kitchen.

So when I want a great dessert I reach into my freezer to get a little help from Sara Lee®. Having a Sara Lee® cheesecake or pound cake in my freezer makes things so much easier! Now when company surprises me or one of those pregnancy cravings hits I am ready!

I stock up on frozen Sara Lee desserts every time I’m at Walmart! They are such a fabulous thing to have on hand!

Of course all Sara Lee® desserts are absolutely delicious on their own. They have a fresh taste and no one will ever guess you didn’t spend all day baking yourself!!

What I love most about Sara Lee® desserts is it is so easy to make them uniquely yours by just adding a few things you have on hand.

Berries and whipped cream are the perfect way to add a special touch to these desserts but I like to go a step further to bring a little fall flavor to that all ready delicious cheesecake!

It is so easy to whip up a quick pumpkin buttercream to add to the top of your cheesecake to really make it sinful!

This buttercream is a breeze to make and it really takes this cheesecake to the next level and makes it your own without all the work!

Ingredients
  • 4 Tablespoons butter softened
  • 4 Tablespoons butter softened
  • ½ cup pure pumpkin
  • ½ cup pure pumpkin
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Beat the butter and pumpkin together in a stand mixer
  2. Add in your vanilla and spices.
  3. Beat in 5 cups of powdered sugar one cup at a time.
  4. Spread on Sara Lee Classic Cheesecake and enjoy!!!

If I really want to make it super fancy I’ll even drizzle it with caramel before serving, sooo amazingly delicious!

This is going to be my go to recipes this whole holiday season and since I’m just going to get bigger and more tired getting some help from Sara Lee to get some great desserts on the holiday table will be a lifesaver!
