Since we all load up and head over to my grandma’s on Thanksgiving she is in charge of the Turkey and most of the side dishes and there are a thousand blogs out there telling you how to make the perfect turkey or creamiest potatoes so I’m not going to do that lol. Instead I am going to share with you the 3 things I will be making for Thanksgiving this year. I’m not going to make them until Wednesday night so I don’t have pictures of my finished product but I will share the links I got the recipes from.
None of these recipes take alot of work but all produce great dishes that everyones loves. I can barely make enough trifle, it gets eaten so quickly. To make things easier you can used canned crescent rolls for the gratitude rolls (I wont tell ;)

This is Paula Deen’s Pumpkin Trifle, it is amazing, seriously one of the best desserts I have had, the pumpkin and gingerbread are just a perfect combination and the coolness of the dessert makes it feel not so heavy after the huge meal we just had! Pumpkin Gingerbread Trifle
The next dish is a bacon wrapped cracker from The Pioneer Woman. These are simple, only use 3 ingredients and they fly off the tray (anything involving bacon usually does). I make half of these with the parmesan cheese and the other half I top with a little brown sugar AFTER I wrap the crackers with the bacon. Holiday Bacon Appetizers
The third dish I am making is a new one for me, they are called Gratitude Rolls from How Does She? and the idea was just too cute to pass up. Putting what everyone is thankful for on little strips of paper inside the dinner rolls is genius! You can cheat and used canned crescent rolls or follow the recipe and make them from scratch, either way Im sure they will be a delightful addition to your Thanksgiving table. Gratitude Rolls
