Hey yall!!  Okay so Halloween is over and you know what that means…….. it’s Holiday Time!!!!  I love the holidays sooo much especially Thanksgiving.  We get up early and snuggle down on the sofa under blankets and eat cinnamon rolls and watch the parade in our jammies.  It is just such a nice morning and our family tradition.  Then after Santa gives that one last wave it is go time!!

That means rushing around doing hair, fixing ties, zipping up dresses and packaging up food so we are all ready to head to my grandparents.

Once we step through that door you just know the holidays are upon us.  All the tables are set up, there are little dishes of olives and celery out, and you can hear the chatter and laughter of the family and high heels on the floor while everyone piles in.  There is football on the TV, Black Friday ads strewn about with children marking their favorite toys and always a small crowd in the kitchen waiting in line for my Papa to dole out tastes of that fabulous Thanksgiving turkey.  It is such a special day and I love sitting in my grandma’s wing chair with a slice of pumpkin pie at the end of the day and just soak it all in, the day, the family and the magic of the holidays.

Families grow and families change and friends come and for the ones who spend Thanksgiving with their families or cannot be here I wanted to have a small dinner, a “Friendsgiving” where we can have a casual Thanksgiving dinner and be with our friends for the holidays.  For such a casual meal I wanted something everyone loves but incorporate the flavors of Thanksgiving and what better thing than a turkey burger.

Of course I have to take that burger to the next level but mixing it with Stove Top Stuffing which will add all those Thanksgiving flavors.  Of course such an epic burger will need a spectacular sauce.

Enter cranberry sauce!!  I love to use cranberry sauce for all sorts of sauce and marinades and mixing a little cranberry sauce with some dijon mustard and some Kraft Mayo makes the perfect topper for this turkey burger!
