Hey y’all!! I am bringing you a super delicious, easy to make seafood recipe that is just to die for! So get ready for some deliciousness!
February is a crazy month, it is a shorter month, it is a freezing month and it’s my husband’s birthday. We have gotten in the habit of having a huge themed costume party for him every year. One year it was comic characters, last year it was 80’s movies and this year it is Disney.
I always serve a massive amount of appetizers and am always on the look out for new ideas to thrill our guest’s tastebuds.
Right before the party I always head to Sam’s Club (who am I kidding, I am there every weekend anyways lol) to stock up on all our party necessities. It was there I spotted these SeaPak® Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp that just looked amazing! When I came across some King’s Hawaiian Rolls I knew they would make the perfect bed for those delicious jumbo shrimp. A few more items in my cart like KRAFT Miracle Whip and Mrs. Dash to make a zesty sauce and I was ready to head home.
I wanted to add my own twist to these scrumptious little sliders and bacon and avocado just seemed like the perfect match for these bites.
I got started and couldn’t wait to taste test! Making these sliders was so quick and easy and that is the perfect kind of party food in my book. Between getting the house set up and costumes on I need party appetizers that are low maintenance but high in flavor and these sliders sure delivered!
I cut the tails off the frozen butterfly shrimp and pop them in my oven to get nice and crispy brown.
While they are baking away, I split my rolls, mix the KRAFT Miracle Whip and Mrs. Dash® to make an amazing sauce (you can do that part ahead of time, score!), then I just warm up some microwave bacon (you can fry raw bacon, but I don’t have time for that on party day lol) and slice my avocado thin.
Once the shrimp are cooked (which is a lighting fast 11 minutes) it is just all about assembly!
I spread some of that flavorful sauce on the split rolls, top with a shrimp, a slice of bacon and a slice of avocado. Done! The perfect most delicious and easy party snack you could ever want.
I just know these babies are going to fly off the table at his party!
So next time you have a party or get together or even just a quiet evening at home these Bacon Avocado Shrimp Sliders are a delicious snack. You can also put a few together with a side salad and dinner is done!
