Woo week two of our Copycat Series and I have an awesome one for you this week .  We have all been there before, it’s Sunday and you want some Chick-Fil-a but it is closed and there is no satisfying that craving for their yummy chicken and perfect waffle fries.  Until now!

I have four secrets to making the perfect Copycat Chick-fil-a nuggets at home.Chik-fil-a Ingredients

These things are essential in making your nuggets taste authentic.  The chicken needs to marinate in the pickle juice/milk mixture for about 30 minutes to an hour before cooking to provide the perfect nugget.  Wet&DryThe crackers get pulverized and mixed with the powdered sugar and a few other ingredients to make an amazing breading.BreadedFinally they take a little fry in some peanut oil which is the final piece to the recipe.  Throw some frozen waffles fries in the oil and you have an amazing meal you wont believe didn’t come from the drive-thru.Chick-Fil-A Nuggets

So next time you have a serious Chick-fil-a craving just whip up a batch of these little nuggets and you are set!

yummy! We just had a chik fil a open up near us. The kids loved watching it be built, and then getting to go. My poor 6 year old didn’t realize her only options would be chicken though, lol. She still asks to go but I have to remind her she never eats chicken and they don’t have anything else.
Thanks for sharing this on Foodie Friday

I’m visiting from the Let’s Get Real Blog Hop. I love copy cat recipes so I had to click on your link. I haven’t tried using the crackers to recreate the Chik-fil-a nuggets and I noticed the breading was never crispy enough so this should be good.
