Chicken and asparagus Minute Family Rice Bowls, yum!

Hey guys!! Back to school time is going to be here before we know it and that means we all
could use a little help in the kitchen for those busy nights when we are all trying to get back
into that school routine.
I am always on the lookout for new things that can help me get a wholesome dinner on the
table, a little help from the shelf as I like to say.
So, when I was doing my weekly shopping I came across these new Minute® Ready to Serve
Family Bowls
Now not only can you get Minute Ready to Serve in single serve cups but Minute now offers
a larger size perfect for my family. The Minute® Ready to Serve Family Bowls are fully cooked and are ready in only a few minutes. You can’t mess this up, just remove the film,
heat the bowl in the microwave for 2 minutes and voila dinner is served.

The 16 oz. bowls provide 3-4 servings which is perfect for my little family.  And can I just
tell you how much I love that you can serve right out of the bowl, less dishes for this mama!

I picked up quite a few because I know they are going to be perfect for a million different
recipes, or a base for stir fry or stew and even with just a little butter on the side of any
meal.  I love that I could get them in 100% Whole Grain Brown and White Rice, and both
Minute Family Bowls are gluten free and contain no preservatives.
I know I will be turning to these family bowls weekly, they are just so delicious and such
great timesavers.

One of my favorite quick dishes I make with them are these Chicken and Asparagus Rice
Bowls.
I just cut up some boneless skinless chicken and saute it before letting it simmer in a
flavorful sauce with some chopped asparagus.

It is quick and easy and delicious over rice.

This meal is also very easy to customize to your taste, you can use beef or pork instead of
chicken and you can use whatever veggies you have lying around in the fridge that need to
be used up.  You could make this every week and mix up the ingredients every time.
