Hot Fudge Brownie Cheesecake

Sharing is caring!

Hot Fudge Brownie Cheesecake

Woot week 3 of our Copycat Series and I think it is becoming my favorite series of them all! I think we should do a copycat of our copycat series!!!  (ok sorry it is way too late and I think I’ve had too much sugar, or not enough sleep, or both?)

Anywho I am sharing with you guys a delicious decadent cheesecake this week.  This is a copycat of a cheesecake I used to get from The Cheesecake Factory, but I don’t think they have it anymore, so I made my own:)

Luscious cheesecake sits upon a rich brownie bottom and then gets a hot fudge bath with cherries and toasted almonds finishing the whole thing off.  It is seriously the best cheesecake ever!

It is a rich one though so just a sliver will do ya.  It is such an easy recipe since I use a boxed brownie mix, so you can whip this cheesecake up in no time and really wow your friends and family.

Ingredients

  • One good quality brownie mix, mixed according to box directions.
  • 3 pkg., 8 oz. each Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • Whipped cream or vanilla buttercream, I use buttercream because it holds it shape longer
  • Cherries
  • Slices almonds toasted
  • Hot fudge

Instructions

  1. Mix brownie mix according to directions on box and pour into a greased 9 inch springform pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add 3 eggs, one at a time, until blended. Pour over brownie layer in pan.
  3. Bake at 325 for 55 min. to 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Top with slightly warmed hot fudge, whipped cream or butter cream, toasted almonds and of course a cherry on top!

  2. Parrish, this cheesecake is just gorgeous, and your photography is beautiful. I love that the crust is BROWNIE! ♥ Thank you so much for sharing this at Treasure Box Tuesday- PINNED! :)

    1. This is absolutely the best cheesecake ever! We love it, and I will use just the cheesecake part for all my cheesecake needs! Thank you!

  3. Is the brownie mix to be baked prior? I made the recipie and the brownie didn’t bake. Other than that it tasted good

    1. I do not bake it before and it usually comes out almost cooked through but still very very fudgy. If you prefer a firmer crust I would prebake the brownie part for maybe 15 minutes before adding the cheesecake batter.
