Marshmallow Pop Sparklers

Summer time is almost here and that means it is the season for red, white, blue everything!!!  Whether you are preparing for Memorial Day or the 4th of July some red, white and blue treats are sure to be on your table!  So I want to bring you some easy treats that you can make to bring a little color to your summer festivities this year and first up is my Marshmallow Pop Sparklers.

All kids love sparklers and they are quintessential for summer time celebrations and I wanted to create a dessert to mimic the fun of sparklers and that’s when I came up with these adorable Marshmallow Sparklers.

The best thing about this treat is they are so simple to make!!  No heating up your oven for this one!  Just melt a little chocolate in your microwave and you are good to go!

I take huge marshmallows (regular size is fine too) and poke a festive paper straw into the middle, using a little melted chocolate to secure it.  I pop them in the freezer for just a min to get them chilly.  Then I dip them in white chocolate and let them dry.

When dry I drizzle on red and blue melted chocolate.

Before that dries I get crazy with some sprinkles!

Then I take a cherry with the stem and dip it in a little melted chocolate and place it on the top of the marshmallow and let it set.

And that is all there is to it!  How adorable are these?!  And you look like a rock star in the kitchen.
